My sister Robin and her family were in town this past weekend. We did a lot of stuff. We went to the aquiram, downtown denver, A rockies baseball game (that had a rain delay.. welcome to Colorado), Then to Elitch's Gardens amusement park. Had a great time just hanging out. But out of everything we did.. Peter and I didn't have our camera once. I am hoping that we can get some pictures from Robin or Lars (Whitneys soon to be husband). But with pictures or without.. we had a lot of fun. Whitney, Lars and Skyler taught Dakota to say a couple of cute things. Like ... "let's bounce" and "do work, Son" (I guess that is from a show on MTV.. Rob and Bigg or something like that) On sunday Peter and I had to speak in church. So it was nice that my family was here. This is the first time we had to speak in this ward, we have been in the ward for 3 years and we have dodged the bullet for awhile. So I guess it was just our time.
I have enjoyed the time spent with my family. I am sad we didn't get any pictures. But such is life. I hope to get some to post. We will have to see.

Memory Blog
Blog Memory Game
So, I thought this looked kind of fun - I got it from my friend Jessica. Go ahead, see if you can remember something I can't!
1. Add a comment to this post on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot…anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Been very busy!
So a lot has been going on. Not really us going places, but with work and church... I just haven't found time to sit down and post our adventure in camping. But we did have a fun time. We bought a new tent, and had a blast. We camped out by Bear Lake right off of C-470. Then went up to Evergreen lake, and did the paddle boats with Tim and Sarah Runyon. We enjoyed just getting away and spending time with good friends. I will tell you, trying to paddle boat with a two year old is hard work. But we made it.
We have been trying to take Dakota on the train down at the park in Englewood, next to Pirate's Cove, but every time we have gone down there, it has either been closed or broken. So I am pretty bummbed about that. But hopefully before the summer is over we will make it down there. But he does enjoy playing in the water of the little creek that runs though the park. So it's worth it to go down there.
We still aren't sure what is going on with the Navy. But my job right now is really stressful and a lot of work.... hence the reason I haven't posted since the begining for July. But I finally did it.
**Side note, if you want to see a really good moive.. Go check out "The Bucket List" with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicleson. It's a great story line, a few words that really didn't need to be said, but overall great movie. ***
